On Training Wheels
Hi, I have this beauty,
20161107_160816.jpeg
it is the heaviest bike by 8-10 or so lbs, than any old ballooner I have in my collection.

Noteable items:
Whizzer style wheel (bigger dia. spokes, dimples on rim at spoke nut mount area)
Double fastener seat clamp
Leftside dogleg crank, I've NEVER seen a left side dogleg, I have 4 or 5 right side skiptooths, but none are left side dogleg.

Can anyone ID the maker? CWC? Rollfast? I can't find anything on this beast - rides amazing though.

It's a CWC that I bet was outfitted with a Whizzer motor, hence the double dog-leg crank.

Oh yeah, of course! The 4 spring springer front end...wow, is that cool. It is like a motorcycle fork, with added top springs, so it springs both directions so smooth. also the front sprocket wheel, is a wald. Odd piece, but so cool. I'm 3rd owner, original owner brought from Europe, he's passed on so we can't ask him about it.

Nice!! CWC was my thought as well...thanks so much! I have peaked fenders on my early 50s crescent, but I'd like to hang onto them. I have a 38 or 39 colson, but it's going to be a cafe style board tracker, missing fenders as well...

Cool Whizzer springer front end, late 40's early 50's CWC 3 gill, does the rear left chain stays have dimples or dog-legged out to clear a belt?
