Great thread. I have a 1960 Schwinn middleweight and when I got it out of someone's yard I got the idea to build an old school klunker. All I salvage is the frame and seatpost clamp and the rest was junk. I painted it. Bought a sunlite bottom bracket conversion kit and installed Sugino cranks. Tange forks, Alex rims with generic coaster hubs. The stem is a tuf neck rip off I bought from a 2nd hand bike store, cruiser bars off of a BMX bike, Mesenger seat, chrome z chain and some reissue Typhoon tires off a Wal Mart bike
