Note: I worked for Sotheby's years ago, and know that they are (sorry) hardly known for their accuracy. They ARE known to try to make things sound more valuable, and a '16 bike in good shape would seem more valuable than a '24?

Last bit of info is that the lower top tube appears to have the front flute/rear lug configuration of the "bent" double-tube Indians - whereas the Sterling appears to have flutes on both ends?

I only have one, low-res image, and no authority to share. If I can get this, I'll circle back.
