A nice surviving example! I've only seen photos of the Indian Chief tricycle online. Never saw one in person before. Terrific addition to your collection....Congrats!

You're right...the photos I saw years ago don't show up. There used to be a trike collector's website called tricyclefetish, which has since closed down. They had this photo of the Indian Chief on their website that I saved:

Very cool early trike. Looks to be built to the same quality as the bikes. Is that handlebar stem original? Is there a bolt hole on top?
