Look Ma, No Hands!
Last time I visited my LBS the owner showed me a bike he purchased many years ago from someone who brought it to the shop wanting to sell it. Apparently it was brought in by a family member of the original owner.
The bike is thought to be an early 1900's Elgin. I'm out of my element here so I'm looking to the forum to point me to information sources about the bike.
It is not mine and it is not for sale.
The light was poor so the photos are not great, but should help identify the bike.

The badge pretty much tells the story on this one. The Elgin Cycle Co. was in business from 1895-1908. This one looks to be right at the turn of the century to me but I'n no expert on these. @Jesse McCauley may be able to shed some light on the history of the company. V/r Shawn
