This bicycle forum is awesome but I wish there was more people to help me out with my questions!!
Can someone tell me how hard it would be to find wheels and pedals for a Shelby Flyer?
Also how hard is it to find parts for Westfield bikes ( around 1935 or so)?
Thanks again for any replies and help!
Doug

I'll try:

As far as the Shelby is concerned, Torringtons are fairly easy to come by, either re-produced from a place like Memory Lane, or used for pretty reasonable on ebay. If you're talking about the weighted, teardrop pedals, they're pretty rare and expensive if you can find them. For the wheels, just the basic drop center rims that most bikes came with from that era are fairly easy to come by. Again, memory Lane sells those rims with good chrome for $25. I just bought a set with ND front & rear hubs and good double butted spokes off of ebay for $53.
I can't offer any info on Westfield bikes.
