What is the best way to install a grommet for a 41 autocycle on the wire hole on the tank?

May need to strap a board to your butt 1st but at that point I might consider runnin' away

They also make hand held snap ring types for "crafts" but when grommet was used I assumed rubber which is why I stated oil it & slip it in.

Windex works really well with rubber, and it doesn't leave a mess to clean up later.

I always jus' smear a little bit of edible coconut oil when I am mindful of paint as windex has ammonia & I don't ever use it anymore after seeing bad experiences with tint & paints but you are Right. Just the simplest of stuff will assist a rubber plug or grommet. Learnt that installing tires & gas filler necks

I've always used a little dish soap, works good on grips to.
