Interesting early Elgin bent seat tube

I finally added a Westfield Elgin to the wood pile....you know for comparison to my Murray built stuff. Looks like the twin to that last one.

I've had the Miss America for a while, it's pretty odd too.

The strangest thing that I just noticed, is that the forks appear to be the same throughout. Only difference in the front fenders are the headlight holes.
Anyone know the reasoning behind that? Or who made the fenders and forks?

These Elgins have the same fenders as my bike.. They might be Torrington or maybe Wald... Nice looking bikes as the frames are quite unique...
