On Training Wheels
Hi All!
I’m Nico! I‘m new to the forum!

I joined because I got this bike from my wife’s family and I wanted to ask what do you recommend to do with it?
I thought on restoring it to ride it, but it‘s on the large size for me. Maybe restoring it to keep it since it’s been in the family for more than 100 years (it’s a end of 1800’s beginning of 1900’s bike) but it‘s sad to know it won’t be ridden. I could sell it to someone that will be interested on restoring it, but I have no idea of the value. What should I do?

I‘m curious to hear if someone will know more about the brand and bike history, please, if you know anything let me know! In the meantime I’ll start reading all about restoration in the forum.

Much appreciate all the advice and help!
Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Nico

Welcome to the CABE! Obviously a Swedish built bike and I suspect a little later than you may think--1940s? Have you done a Google search? Not usually much of a market for these types of things on this side of the pond. V/r Shawn

Wow! What a beautiful machine. Real sturdy looking build too. Thanks for the great camera work! Bosch generator for the lighting system, are you kidding me. Quality piece. If it were mine I would service it, clean it and then ride it. If it is too tall for you .... well... hang on to it anyway. You would regret selling it. You couldn't find such a bike again. Are tyres 28 x 1 1/2? This may not be a highly sought after collectable but as a family heirloom it's priceless and as unique as it is I know a few on here that would love to have it in their collection.... like me for example. 😉
Let me add, welcome to the CABE! Quality images like yours are always appreciated here.
