Child's frameset for years and have always suspected that it was pre-war. The rivet holes are on the bottom bracket for the missing serial number plate. Straight downtube, original post, clamp, bb/crankset w44t alloy ring, fork and headset. Any help identifying would be great.

I agree, postwar. Certainly not always the case, but pre-war usually have threaded chain adjusters at the rear drop out if I'm not mistaken, as opposed to slotted drops for the rear axle. I welcome correction. 40 years in this hobby and still learning. I tend to retain useless facts, shed the important ones. Natural selection?
 
Thanks. If I'm not mistaken, the serial number plates on the bb started in 1947, so maybe late 40s?
