Is the Hendee Decal Real or Repro

Recently I finally got my Short Battery Can to put on my 1934 Shelby Lindy.
It has the Delta decal , but also has below it a Hendee(future Indian MC) decal. I assumed the decals are repros and wanted to remove the Hendee one as that wouldn’t fit what I was doing, so I posted a discussion to get help on decal removal. A few CABE members told me to post some pictures of all of it before I proceed to make sure the Hendee decal isn’t original, so to proceed with caution, I’m heeding the members advice and asking the question, “are these decals original or repros?” If original , I’ll have to change my game plan as I would never remove anything original
So…..see photos below and please weigh in on the question.
ALSO……..
Both clamps are the same, but one set has holes drilled into the larger end that goes around the canister itself(see photos)
Don’t know if that is standard , someone did that later or ?

Here are some decals I found on the internet for sale. Not the same size as the one on the can , also, no comma after CO on the can one.

The font looks off for the period- compare it to the Indian decal above. If it is peel and stick vinyl, it is not period.

The lettering with the oversized clear overlay is definitely not how they would have done it back in the day.

Thanks to all who have weighed in.
The Cannister seems original, but, as you can see in the photos, it is as clean as a newborn baby’s bottom on the inside…..if original, maybe NOS , who knows
How about the one Clamp, any idea why only one of them has holes on the larger ends and the other clamp does not
