Is this a Christie?

A gentleman brought this saddle into my store today. Saying how he found it in the attic of an old city house he just bough. I bought it from him and just want to confirm what I think..

I think it's a Men's Christie saddle but I'm not totally sure and wanted to be before I took off what looks like home made fabric top

Looks like a Christy. You can remove the carpet that is glued to the top to be 100% certain

It has similarities for sure. As @locomotion said above, you'll need to remove the 'carpet' to see if there is the inscription and patent information down the centre.
Personally I've never seen a leaf spring model with a single rear spring.
