Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Howdy All,
Can anyone confirm, by photographic evidence of a unmolested surving bike, or written catalog narative, the use of brown coke bottles on Rangers.

Thank you.

Link is for reference, (disclaimer) I am not endorsing these as authentic.

BROWN! Lol, all good Jesse, just messing around.
Those superb are the typical Ranger Motorbike, Chief had similar. Fabric and rubber construction. Awesome grips,

@saladshooter
That stopper caused these grips to break at that spot.
I think the design was so the grip would dampen vibration not being fully on the bar ends.

Rough Rider grips had that stopper too, same breaking point.

Not exactly the same as the Superbe on Mead but I like that the gray grips are offered by him seen here on the left. A variation on Coke bottle.

And what are these? I think they came with a set of cross brace bars from a Mead from 1934 but would like to identify them ...?

I'm pretty sure I had a set of those on my 1961 Kent made bike back in the early 60's
