Is this a shelby frame

I'm new here, I've looked on here over the years..but just joined..
Anyways..i got this rig awhile ago.ive been told Shelby bike
With other stuff on it.
Including the sweet Hiawatha fender ornament.
Can someone confirm this?

I think Huffman too. The known Huffman serial numbers are a little all over the place, but 35457 SBH could be late 1941. The H is Huffman, I'm told the B is a short lived dating code for 1941, the S is the type. The only other SBH Huffman I could find is a Firestone Pilot.

Hello Scott, so far so good. I can't find my Sears 26" bike from the 60's. Left chain stay say 7H100781,bottom bracket say 507-451614. What do you think? Thanks in advance! if the bike is from the 60's the 7 will be 67, if from the late 50's it will be 57. the H usually means Huffman or Huffy I...

You may find some numbers stamped on the rear top of the fork. If you can tell us what they are, or photo them, then we can date the bike to the month it was made.

Post 327 in the link above gives an idea of the fork stamping.

i looked back side of fork, the fine repaint someone did ages ago,is to thick to see any numbers..lol
ill try another time & clean it off..
but if its a '41 for a year..thats pretty good..

Yep that ornament is off a Hiawatha Arrow (Shelby built) but the bike is a Huffman built bike. V/r Shawn
