Vintage Italvega 10-Speed Road Bike. Everything about this bike is smooth, the gears shift smoothly, the chain does not skip. The brakes stop when you need them to. This bike is light weight, and is a great bike for someone who wants to start collecting vintage bikes or for a collector already.
The bike has all the original components, all of which are Compognolo. However the only component that has been changed out is the front delrailer and the drop bar shifter levers, those are Suntour. Its very rare that you find a bike of this age with the same original wheel sets. They are straight as can be, a just like new condition.
The overall cosmetic of the bike is remarkable. The frame has light wear and tear scratches around the rear brake and on the bottom bracket. There are no dents or bends anywhere on the frame. For those of you who like nostalgia, the bike sports TWO bike licenses for the state of California, both of which reside on the bottom bracket.
The Pedal straps are third party, and are fully adjustable, or for your riding pleasure you can take them off. The handlebar tape is newly wrapped. The Saddle is a Brookes Saddle and has minor scratches on the top, but looks very new, as the Saddle is maybe 2 months old.
