Iver fender removal

Could not take it anymore! The fenders just did not look correct. So after i got two flats on my last ride I bought some $10 tires $3 tubes and removed the fenders.

Agree on 28" or someone got real happy with the fender roller.

From what I have been told, in the mid to late 30's IJ made these mobicycles to be either 28 or 26. I have the same bike in red and white with the same fender gap, but I have the original 26" wood grain wheels! I will put up a pic of mine later. I was thinking of maybe going with the retro ride 2.2" tires to fill in the gap.

My Iver with 26" wheels, these are not the original wheels, they are being cleaned up and trued...but there is the fender gap...I really have gotten use to it, who said any Iver was standard? Lol.

I was thinking 28's as well, but the fork has a wider spacing for a wider fender width. Old Skip Tooth, your right, Ivers sure aren't standard, thats for sure

Iver fenders and wheels

I have tweaked my fenders and pulled them in a bit, and tried on different wheels and some cream Duros.

Looks cleaner and more in line with the fender adjustment.
