Wore out three sets of tires already!
Bought this to attempt a Wheemen Crit., and have a rider when done. Serial number 390x93, (1922 or 23suggested)seat post 21 1/4 inches, New Departure model R rear hub, 36 spoke. Front 32 spokes. No drilled hole in rear bridge for fender mount. 24 tooth sprocket front 9 rear. Would like to know model number of this bike? is front sprocket correct? Any constructive criticism or comments welcome. Thanks Rick

Unsure of the exact year, but you’re in the ball park. Lucky guy. This is a 1924 catalog page. Someone can probably narrow down a more precise year for you.

Hi rickyd, Looks like you've found a Model 90A Iver Johnson "Special Racer" . This was the only Iver racer to have the four bolts on the chainring. Can't tell from your pics but it would have had natural finish "high V" profile wood wheels. The frames were only available in 21" or 23" and yours is the 21. Needs restoration but nice find.
