Look Ma, No Hands!
I have obtained this bike today. The Serial Number is 99729 I think it has been put together with parts from different years. The jeweled tank and the rear rack specifically. I think the chain guard is mis-matched also. I am sure the light is wrong. It has been restored and looks good but I am curious as the the year of the frame. Head Badge is a Sears made bike.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sharp looking ride. I won't trash it and am not sure on the s/n/year. Of course the tank reflectors are bogus, but look neat. May have come with a Batwing headlight, but the one on it looks JC.
Seat is a repop, should be a ladies Troxel. Pedals are wrong, but look good with the bike, as grips etc. Overall it looks GREAT....... paint is sweet, not sure on the chainguard being correct/but again look fantastic. It's a cool bike, enjoy!

Post a picture of the MOD 502 numbers and a number 4 or 5 digits long starting with 45 or 46.

The year might be ascertained by reading any additional smaller stamped letters and numbers above the “MOD 502” stamping.
