JC Higgins Antique Ladies Bike

Hi! I bought an antique JC Higgins ladies bike yesterday and am hoping to learn what year it is & find details & photos on it to restore it.

It is a Murray made bike for Sears. There are some serial number list on this forum that might give the year. Make it rideable and ride it but do not put anymore money in it than you have to as it will never be worth the money it costs to restore it. It has heavy weight tires and 1 inch chain so I am guessing just before WW2 or just after. Roger

It's a '54 by the date code 'MOST', and being a Sears bike, it has an S in the code. Not seen on this list, or other Murray built bikes of the era.

Yes one I have for sale right now, with it's original allstate tires on it!
