JC Higgins barn find i.d.

JC Higgins barn find that I bought from the original owner. Said he got it for Christmas in 54 or 55. Can anyone confirm by deciphering the SS# ? Pretty sure this is a Murray built bike. The bike is original as found except for the tires that were changed at some point. I believe it's called a color-flow but does not say that anywhere on the bike that I can see. This is my first Higgins so any info would appreciated !

Beautiful bike! I could be wrong but I think the MOS means it's a 1953. I'm going off a Murray chart I found here on the cabe.

MOS-R might be a 1952 for Sears; (MOS-S for ‘53 Sears; MOS-28/26/22/etc. for ‘53 non-Sears; e.g., Western Flyer).

I have MOS Q, and mine is 1951. Same color as yours. Nice Batwing light you've got there. Mine is missing.
