IMO BC De Luxe is better designed. Weight of the bike forces the pieces together, so stand won't fold up w/o releasing nub from hole.
Jiffy stands get grooved from use and wear at the stop, no longer locking in place.

What do the initials, B.C. Stand for?
Both stands work well, but they do require a bit of technique, so that excessive wear does not occur.
Each stand needs to be pushed in to free up the key way before being deployed up or down.
Most of these that you find are all worn out and not reliable anymore, because the user just kicked them up or down as you would a Miller type.
