What was odd was the seat post and the other down post met in a curve at the bottom bracket (where the crank goes). They didn't butt into it like most others I have seen. Wish I had gotten a picture of it.
Good eye on spotting the looptail construction, but these are later postwar and as such not of very high quality to begin with so no big loss. Now if it had been a Monark you would be getting a real tounge lashing!
