Finally riding a big boys bike
I am wanting to see what is available. I am not looking for any particular make, just what interests me.
Thanks Guys.

Slightly outside your date range (1924) but I will have this one in Ohio about the first week of May.

Thanks for your help on eBay, I’m trying to begin selling my collection of about 80 bikes.
Not as in tune on bike facts as I used to be 🤔. Long, long time member of The Cabe
Thanks again

A little up date. My preference is a single top bar, metal clad wood wheels, short frame - sized for a person 5'6" to 5'8" with 30" to 32" inseam.
Year range 1917-1922 What do you have? Thanks Guys and Gals!

Dale, I have an Excelsior that I was told was an early 20s but I never pulled the crank to check. Are you looking for a rider or a restoration project. This one fits your wants, single bar, clad rims, 2 spd. Tires are petrified, I'm sure there are some none original parts on it. It has an 1886 quackenbush bicycle 22 rifle strapped to it. When I got this bike I was told not to even clean it so I didn't. Do you have a price range in mind. NOTE: The 1935 Bluebird kickstand is no longer on the bike.

Thanks Hemi, Let me be more specific, Straight top bar.
I am looking for a plane jane, No tanks, no rear accessories, racks ,rear seats. Rear and front fender desired.
Nothing mounted to the top bar. Nice seat, wheels and tires.

I will be mounting a period engine over the rear wheel.
I am not a bike guy, so I do not know values to say that I am willing to spend (x) amount on a bicycle, that's what I am trying to figure out.
Thanks.

Maybe start with a frame / fork and clad rims and build from there, probably be alot cheaper. Then you could choose each piece to your liking. Good Luck

There's a lot here to figure out, sounds like I will be looking and learning as to what would satisfy my needs.
Thanks guys from the private posts. Learning curve 101.
