Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Dripping with American motorcycle heritage this frame/fork project has guts! This example is from the late naught or early teen years and has the beefier rear stay tubing, heavier double plate fork, and the more angled seat mast to give it a more “motorcycle” like look. It is "as found" but a solid, straight bike, with normal wear, a couple small top tube dents, some rear stay dents. Sweet original paint, strong nickel on the Cleveland chainring; split bolted bottom bracket. And the classic Cleveland bicycle badge that models the larger motorcycle badge. This is a 22" frame but has a much lower step over size because of the frame geometry and the seat mast is angled back to give the bicycle a more "motorcycle like" look. Would be an amazing start to a motorized build because of the sturdy beefy tubing. Extras are the Cleveland "bulldog" snub quilled seat post, an original pump bracket, motorbike stem with original bars (decent nickel), one wood grip (with cracks) that needs leather wrapping. An amazing deal, only being sold to fund the Flying Merkel purchase fund. Buy it now while I am in a good mood! PM to purchase.
