One more question, my front forks are not slotted they are solid. How many years did they do that! Also my front treads are damaged, PM me with new shaft and tapered nuts anyone with these available.

Old thread with new update. Had a small sand grit noise in the crank. Finally pulled it apart today. Yes it’s been awhile. Found a small rust spot on the bottom of the race. Sanded it with 400 grit. Cleaned and lubed it up. Even resoaked the chain in a homemade oil brew. Ready to rideeeeeey again! 1941 date on the crank. “One Speed” ...
