Ladies BF Goodrich find

-

Neanderthal77

Wore out three sets of tires already!
Picked up this really clean ladies BF Goodrich today, I believe it to be a 40'. It has a sliding rail seat. EA horn button. Forgot to test the horn when I had the tank off, looks pretty good just a little surface rust so hoping it works.

Not to hijack your post but it's Interesting that just half an hour ago I pulled out a rescued "yard art" bike to check the serial number, then I came in and saw your post. Ours is (was) blue too. Quite a contrast.
I like yours much, much more, it's sweet.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. I couldn't believe it was cleaner than it looked in the pictures. I tested the horn and only got a click like noise when the button was pushed then silence. The inside of the horn moves when it makes the noise after that nothing. I did clean the battery contacts. Can you spray wd40 in the horns if they are stuck?

First try tapping the horn while pushing the button. You can also momentarily hit it with a 9v battery to loosen it up. V/r Shawn
