I took a pass though because it's missing the head badge. The replacement badge I found, referencing the same bike someone else has, is around $94. Starting with the purchase price and badge, then when you add in new tires(?), horn(?), light repair/replacement, and who knows what else, it started adding up and seemed to be getting more than the bike's ultimately worth.
I'm sure you can find a late 40's head badge for a lot less than 94 bucks. But like you said, spending more $'s on parts will put you over the value mark.
