Was thinking this bike was somewhere between 47-49, but not sure. Also, it has a 1/2” drivetrain instead of the more commonly seen Skiptooth. Would love your input!

Looking 49 by the catalog page. Still a mystery about the 1/2” drivetrain though. Does and a Mussleman rear hub, might pull a date off if it’s not covered in rust.
 
1/2" pitch on this is not surprising to me. Good idea on hub dating you should be able to locate that without much trouble.
