That one looks like a vinyl sticker to me. You can see where the top of the five has been peeled off if you blow up the picture.

I think it's waterslide that was wiped down too many times affecting the edges of the decal as it happens most because of the 2 wear and tear and the years of cleaning.

I can see a line where the top of the 5 is missing, like a glue residue line. Plus the K is leaning forward at the top. The original painted on graphics wouldn't erode like this. Whatever it is, it's not original. Also, the star is centered. The original screening has the star closer to Klunker.

To each their own! I am not a fan of repainted restorations. It is only original once, and that is how I prefer them.

I have an 82 Sidewinder that is all original except for the grips. ( I still have the original rotten foam grips ) I purchased new OE Schwinn Sidewinder frame decals, but never put them on it, because once I do, it is no longer "ORIGINAL" so the decals hang on the bike in the original factory bag as seen in this pic!

I was going to say list it whole but looks like some already swapped out the S2's, girls Cruiser are kinda rare.

I picked up this 79’ spitfire for my mom,, going to make it look like real 70’s cruiser with “grab on” foam and buddy pegs and for now Carlisle black wall..I’ll post a after pic later today

I wasn’t sure if the script on the top tube was correct but I’ve seen others with it and some one told me it was right so others then the seat & post & tires it’s pretty original.
