Lobdell seat

Would like to see any examples that might be out there for this same seat, with the covering intact.
Not bare metal like this one.

Look at pix of Original Lobdell Horizontal saddles....this is the same pan...
just a different chassis

add the 3 extra studs (holes are already there) blast it ..paint or powder coat it
black, restore the top BAM $ for anyone needing a horiz top for a chassis

What do you mean when you say chassis in this case?

The pan you have was set up for a standard vertical spring carriage chassis...
The Horizontal sprung saddle has a completely different chassis with 2 seperate
spring plates and the center 'girder' type chassis connecting them to the nose coil.
Your pan is the same stamping as the Horizontal Lobdell prewar saddle.
