Thanks for the help, but the one's you're talking about are the Truss rod fork and springer fork. The one I'm talking about is the blade fork witch I believe only used in the early 1950's. I cannot find anything in Schwinn catalog or the archive.
Thanks for the reply, but I would like to see some sort of advertisement. the best I can find they made the locking blade fork for maybe two years. Yes, no, maybe I'm still looking.
The 1955 Wasp was the first to have chrome rims. The 55 price sheet. The lock was an option on the Balloon models and there were only blade forks and springers.
