Looking for a fender light

Hi, everybody.
I'm new to the forum, but I've been enjoying reading from all the experts on here. Learning a whole lot!
I'm looking for the front fender light for the Schwinn Cruiser 7 Deluxe, made around 2000.
The guy at the shop said mine was "rotten" and no longer worked.
Does anybody know where I can get one? It's black, pretty sure it's plastic?

Have you pulled the cover off to look at the tray? Can you post a pic?

Those plastic lights just bolt on top of the fender & are self contained. No battery tray so to speak of. Should use (2) AA batteries. Made in "China"

No I haven't, but you've got me curious now haha.

Ok, I pulled the fender light off, and below is what I saw.
It says AAA batteries, but it seemed to fit AAs??
Anyway, it didn't turn on.
Is it a goner?

Make sure the back of the bulb touching the contact point! If not, you can screw it in until it does.
Looks like 2 AA batteries to me? But does say 4X AAA batteries 2 in ea row
Front clear cover is a goner for sure.
You just PM me if you want/need another light.

I'm not seeing anything that should keep it from working but you may have to adjust the contacts and check the bulb. Pull the bulb and use a couple D cells to check the light.
