Look Ma, No Hands!
Hey Folks- I"m not sure how to even categorize this as I have so little information to go on- just my memory; so I'm looking for this bike- Was probably not a schwinn, but was definitely the stylel of the "stingray"- you know, banana seat, optional sissy bar lengths, NO gear controls though. It was boys bike- The most important thing: The chain guard had a MAKO SHARK on it. And as I recall, it was even labeled "Mako Shark". It was blue, I wanna say light blue, but that could be a memory artifact.

At this point, i'm just trying to see if I can figure out what it was- get a picture of one if it exists. Would I buy one? Absolutely I would. But if anyone can even verify my memory, that would be great! If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably a Sears, or something like that...

This was late 1970's, maybe early 80's. Big long bananna seat, and you could have a tall or short "sissy bar" behind the seat- at least that's what we called it.

Not a dirt bike of any kind....

Help?

The Huffy could have been purchased at Sears.

I have seen a bike with Mako Shark decals and I can not remember who made it.
