Finally riding a big boys bike
I picked this Western Flyer DBR a couple months ago here on the Cabe, I fixed it up and made it a daily rider. On its maiden voyage I got taken out by a drunk/drugged out bicyclist who was not even close to paying attention, he did a number on my bike but with a lot of straightening parts out I got it back to a daily rider again.
So what I know about the bike is that it is a Western Flyer serial number A56100 and I’m curious who built it for them so I know what kind of bike I have here are a couple pictures to help identify the builder.

Maybe early Cleveland Welding; the truss fork crown does look peculiar?

The forks look like the prewar schwinn truss rod forks, but they are not flat across the front of the fork, there is a rounded spot in the middle of the front fork. That is where the fender mounts, I thought that the Schwinn fork had the fender mount inside the steerer tube. I am curious what company built it for them.

Can we see a pic of the serial number?

I tried taking a photo but it is too dark out right now, I will try taking a picture when the sun is out tomorrow. The serial number is A56100 I attached a really dark photo, but you almost have to use your imagination to see it or squint really hard.
Tomorrow’s picture will be better
