Looking for some Pierce info

A friend is looking to acquire this nice truss frame Pierce, circa 1915 or so. Does it look right? Swapped out parts? He says the frame is solid & straight. Anyone have an idea what he should offer? Thanks in advance for the help. Mike

Always show photo of left side of the badge. This will give an approximate date.
The bars are from a later bicycle.
I would pay $800.

There is a photo somewhere showing that model being used as a police bike; maybe under the Pierce thread?

That is an Angola (Emblem) Pierce. I believe the bike is correct as it sits. Emblem bought Pierce in the late teens. A little digging here would get you the exact date. Personally I don't find the Angola bikes as desirable as the Buffalo built bikes. V/r Shawn

It must be missing the chainguard, because the dogleg pedal arm was offset for one....
