Looking For Year Build On This Jc Higgins

YesterdayI exchange some parts with a friend and end up with this bike.
I would like to know the model and year. serial is in BB and it goes like this.

MOD 502 232
68952

He told the model was stars....and year around late 40's is this right?

Looks like a 1950 or 1951 to me. I have three 1951s with the same double truss springer, but I could be wrong.
Maybe one of the Higgins experts will chime in.................Wayne
