Looking for information on this Los Angeles Herald express rollfast More of a story behind it if anyone has ever seen this badge before License plate puts it in the mid 30s

had not known there was such a beast

my parents subscribed to the paper when i was growing up in the 1950's & 1960's

they arose early for work with much to do so did not have time for a morning journal such as the Los Angeles Times

the Herald Express was an afternoon paper and part of the William Randolph Hearst empire

Had this badge for years and knew it was a early/mid 30's Shelby ( I have a couple other 30's Shelby badges same size different names ) but never seen a bike, I posted here a couple of times but never any info, maybe bike was for a contest winner?, I delivers the LA Hearld American! this is my bag i hung off 64 StingRay bars, Thursday & Sunday 100-125 papers.
