Macy's own brand , Cyclone by Columbia ladies bicyle . Need help figuring out what I have.

I have this vintage bike but after hours of searching I can't find anything about it.
Its blue with black seat all original in really good condition. It needs a new peddle crank case ( ?) As it works one minute and the next there is no catch ( like peddling a stationary bike ).

Welcome to the Cabe. Sounds like the rear wheel hub needs some attention.

The skip seems to be coming from the gear/bearings between the puddles. I know nothing about the age or anything on this bike so I have no idea where to find parts for it.
I would love to know the age or value so I know if its worth messing with.
I flipped the bike and looked for serial # under the crank but there is only a letter s .
