Majestic what year?

The serial # is F94773, rear black hub made by new departure. skip tooth.
brass head badge say's Schwinn Majestic.
Can some tell the year?

How can you..

If the kick stand is the normal type Schwinn and the crank just say's A S co.
Then how can one come to a conclusion?

I believe they started using square sided S-2 rims in 1948, and that serial # corresponds to Dec 1952. ~Adam

It is the early cadet speedo. I lookat the BunchOBikes list servial times and the F9XXXX is not on there. These wheels are painted drop center, with a black line.

Probably 46 or 7 then. Pre '48 serial #'s were lost in a fire. ~Adam

Yep the drop centers were correct for pre 48 but were also used on the lower end stuff as late as 52 my wifes 52 B.F Goodrich has them wherea my 52 hornet does not
