Marshall Wells Zenith Bicycle

Got this Marshall Wells Zenith bicycle recently. I’m assuming it’s a postwar bike. I love the green color and the white darts. Planning on cleaning it up, re-greasing everything, adding new tires and making it a daily rider. Might try and retrofit the Delta light to accept LED bulbs. I haven’t tried to see if it works but the batteries were left inside and there is plenty of corrosion.

Looks to me like a Rollfast. Very nice original finish too.

Postwar tall frame Rollfast. About 47 or so.

Very nice, should clean up and be awesome. My father worked for Marshall Wells Hardware at one time. At Christmas the store hosted Santa and because my Dad was employee I got to go to the head of the line.

A date-place code might be lightly stamped on the bottom; e.g., 74SN or 84EH, (or similar).

Also, looks like a 24-tooth chain ring front sprocket, (for easier pedaling).
