Only other mention I've seen of a Flying Jet. Mine had a SA AW hub with a 56 12 stamp. Same design on the headbadge.

I think that would be pretty cool if it were a Dutch bike. Kinda thought it was German.

Just out of curiosity, where's the serial number on yours? The number on mine could be some city or police registration number. I need to look it over again.

S N on left dropout. Maybe the generator and light should have been a clue to me of the bikes origin. I'm attaching the only image I was able to previously find of a Flying Jet. The catalog page seemed to date it to the late fifties with the other bikes on it.
