I posted my Red 1950 Phantom on ebay NO SHIPPING clearly stated. had a couple guys get upset for what was right there in the add. a few others asked politely. it had over 2000 lookers. one clown asked repeatedly and rudely, to the point I reported him to ebay and I think they gave him the boot. he also clowned me here, don't remember if I reported him here. finally a guy had a local buddy pick it up and ship it .... now I wish I had kept it ☹️ as it fit perfect with my stable of crummy bikes.

no way I'm taking a $600.00 non cash payment from a stranger when dealing with a company that will refund your money and then roll the dice and ship it.

I've sold a ton of stuff on Craigslist. cash and carry only. had a lady that wanted to "zelle ?" me the money and pick a bike up at the police station. I find that a bizarre way to do things.

Thanks for taking the time to explain all that. Realizing that I hit an obstacle aquiring the bike I got creative and considered all options to circumvent it. I could care less about the guy's idealogy and concerns, that's a part of the process. Incidently, I will bend over backwards to help a fellow collector based on the fact that I'm empathetic to their desires. I'm an eclectic collector and have acquired the unobtanium stuff from all over the world. Some items are way too rare and an opportunity may only be a once in a lifetime. I've done this many times and have been quite successful many times over. I don't squabble over pennies and do set limits on how much to spend on an item regardless. In short, I was simply looking for an established trustworthy member to help transfer money to the guy and walk away with the bike with compensation. I use Uship to transport items at very reasonable rates and never had a problem. The bike is rough and would not be a nail biter during the ride. If it was mint, different story. Original 1971 Grey Ghost Krate Coasters are very hard to find. Original paint is the clincher to authenticity. incidently, If you know of any original paint 71 Krate GG coasters for sale elsewhere, please share! I certainly don't want to come across as a jerk, just asserting my position on this. Thanks for all the input and consideration.
