I live for the CABE
Very rare motor here flying merkel ties and bicycle lineage.

Missing a piston but that is an easy retrofit with a modern shelf piston.

This would make a great motorized bike with big guns lineage.

$4500

Interesting..... looking at a raleigh 800 twin for about 1900 euro and there is this Miami case i thought I might be able to build up. I'll think about my options here.

ya you gotta be careful......the Miami/merkel top end cylinder is very particular......unlike most of the other bikes having a same bore/bolt pattern......that yesterdays motor is probably the same one circulating for years now......nobody can do anything with it so it gets sent away.......as for the Raleigh I think the English stuff is great quality but for some reason most collectors want American, I've said for yrs theres good value in English antique mc

for reference the last Miami/merkel motor I saw for sale (in the flesh too) was $14000.00 but it was nicer, it had all the parts/mag/carb
