Cruisin' on my Bluebird
What time period was this badge in use. Thinking of filling space on my Archbar till the correct badge comes up. Hopefully 1919 - 1922 is in the ballpark

Ken, yours is a great question. Could you
please consider placing this thread in the
larger ''Miami / F-M'' thread.

My thoughts ... early teen's thru 1922/'23.

Miami Cycle's main marques were Racycle ..
F-M .. Hudson .. Rami and Miami.

The Star enabled a shop to carry an extra
line of Miami-Builts without treading on the
bicycle lines available thru a competitor in
the same or nearby city. This typer would
also like to hear thoughts or knowledge from
other CABEr's ... and you won't get an argue-
ment outta me.

You are the Fortunate-Son, Brother Ken ...
wish I hailed from Middletown !!

Would be an honor to have it placed in the F.M. Miami Racycle thread. Although I have seen the Star badge on a handful of bikes, I dont think it is as common as say the Racycle badge. I've always been kind of an oddball pertaining to following the crowd. Now to find those ratty Sur-Plus pedals and I'll be fairly complete with this prize.

Just wish more Miami builts stayed in the Middie. I often wonder how many if any made it in the Great Miami here. There was a great flood once and I'm sure there were some bikes carried away by the flood waters.
