Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Just go this one, Thanks Bob!!!
Looking to crowdsource and positively ID this frame. I think the post, collet, and frame are about all that belong together. The kick has similar patina too...but the rivet head just broke off at the pivot. Fork looks like Snyder, but has traces of blue paint, where the frame looks to have been red once. The boiled linseed oil treatment over rust makes things look like they match a little better...
The Hiawatha badge was glued on and has small Schwinn screws in larger rivet holes.
Both fork blades are open ended.
Odd that it has the binder bolt brazed over, but the collet setup seems to function just fine, and the brazing doesn't exactly look like a back yard job...besides the gap underneath .
I figure that's probably a defining feature of maker or year...?
Bottom bracket has volcano joints.
Looks like the serial number is E10475. The 1 looks like it was formed with a combination of stamps.
Thanks in advance for any help!
