Finally riding a big boys bike
Selling this late 70s early 80s period klunker hybrid project of mine. I've hunted down every part of this bike. But low and behold, money is nicer to have and I have an identical model c with cantis that is calling my name to finish building.
-Frameset- OG paint model c with 80s tange tx 1200 fork not cut yet. Headset is an tange mx. Frame is space out and with rear drop stand flattened and tapped for derailleur.
-Wheelset is a set of steel rims laced to 79 date code sturmey archer hubs with a 5 speed rear cluster. Tires are og carlisle knobbies. Have some small cracking but supple still. Diacompe levers and og levers+ cables with ends included.
- 70s gen suntour cyclone derailleur front and rear with suntour thumb shifters
-Ta triple cranks on a yst bottom bracket
- sun tour quick release binder.
Still needs a shim for the front derailleur, chain, cables installed, Pedals grips, and other small things.
Asking 1300 firm plus shipping or pickup here in San Francisco, Ca. This is for someone who wants a cool period correct bike without having to hunt down all of the hard to find parts. Please feel free to ask questions. More pictures can be provided.
