I live for the CABE
I recently purchase a very nice original 1940s Gloria road bike with rotten Continental tires.

I purchased a pair of 700 x 30 Schwalbe S One tires for $49 each and removed the labels with a little brakeclean.

I think they look appropriate; your thoughts?

BTW: tube tape works great at gluing the tires on.

Tad, it will be the fastest, coziest ride you've ever experienced on a bike. With Lou on his new silk FMC tubies, you guys are finally going to get what I've been saying about tires as long as you've known me. (Once you get spoiled, you're gonna want hand-glued clinchers on your other bikes).
The price you paid was great, and the size is perfect. FMC and of course Dugast will make 30mm tubulars with gumwalls, and the next closest for the look is Challenge Strada Bianca, but you would pay more than twice for any of those.
