My father passed away a few years ago and he left me a bicycle. I am trying to identify the bicycle. Here is what I know.

1. The bicycle has been restored by my father. All of these facts are from a conversation with my father.
a. He said all parts are what was originally on the bicycle when he received it.
b. The leather on the seat was replaced with new leather but parts are all original.
c. pedals were replaced but are the same type and style as the originals.
d. I am not sure about the authenticity of the hand brake.

2. He said he thought it was a 1939

3. Here are some pictures of the bicycle

Make sure you hook up that rear brake arm before you take it for a spin. Front New Departure brake is a nice addition worth a few bucks. Lube it and ride it, hopefully like your pops did!
