Monark built Elgin

Getting started on getting the Monark built Elgin all cleaned up. So far the parts are coming out beautiful with some washing and WD 0000 steel wool. The original Allstate tires/tubes blowed up and hold air great. Looking forward to getting this one done.

Got a little more work done today got the fenders and straightened and cleaned up.

Thinking yours is around a 38 Frank, they are great bikes. Looks like it's coming along very nicely. Here's a 41 Airman version to keep your juices flowing that I found in a shed some years back, that was in very similar condition when found.

Finished it up today and took it for a ride! Loving the look of this thing. Added a seat as a place holder while the OG seat gets recovered.
