Yep, that definitely looks like one! Please add more pictures and the Model/Serial Number when you get it! Congratulations.

Edit: On a closer look, this bike appears to have the standard double spring Monark fork, and the Red/white w/ black frame color scheme of the regular Monark Rocket, but it has one of the shrouded tanks added that has been repainted or premiered. Hoping Homanktm11 can get us more pictures of the other side of tank and chain guard to see if there are any graphics there & serial/model numbers to confirm.

Another confirmed 1953 girls Super Chief has showed up on a Monark Facebook group page the other day. It is in very good mostly complete shape in Yellow and Black. This one has a Rocket Ray that looks to be OG color and original to the bike.
Model Number: 67 158, Serial number: 1412948, Belongs to Alejandro Latro in Mexico City.
Waiting on more pictures from Alejandro, but here is what I have so far.

These two latest ones bring the total number I have on the Registry to 15 mostly complete bikes and one girls tank!

Yep, what ricobike said. Your bike is what is generally referred to as a Monark 4 bar. The men's version a 5 bar. Or the Champion frame 4 or 5 bar. That is a totally different bike than the Rocket bikes that this thread is about. Most of the Monark 4 Bar or 5 Bar frame bikes that I've had, had the serial number stamped in very small numbers on the left rear drop outs. I have also seen them stamped on one of the tubes under the bottom bracket, but I don't see that on yours.

Hello! My Father recently purchased this. Would anyone happen to know anything about it? Model #2281 and Serial #A1713750

Not one of the Deluxe Rockets with the rare metal tank protective shrouds, that this thread is about, but from what I can tell from the S# it appears to be a 1953 basic Model Rocket. Cool bike, clean it up and enjoy!
